Copyright and Intellectual Property PolicyMark C. Janke (the webmaster) respects the intellectual property of others, and I ask my readers to do the same. My websites are all copyrighted by and registered with the U.S. Copyright office. Webmasters should generate their own original content. This after all is what makes the Internet a better and more diverse place. Many of my websites are about cell phone modding and there is a general pool of shared knowledge on how to modify cell phones. Much of my information is based on the findings of others, and when it is I give credit to the original author of the finding (if attribution can be determined) and a link to where the information was originally found. I then document all procedures in my own style and fully image document the process involved in the modification. I never reproduce someone else's writing directly and I never borrow graphical or other media material from others except as follows: -The commercials on my HacktheV3.com site for the silver and black Motorola RAZR V3 are the property of Motorola. They are displayed there merely as historical material. -There are a couple photographs of the Motorola KRZR K1, RAZR V3, RAZR V3c, RAZR V3i, RAZR V3m, RAZR V3x, RIZR Z3, RIZR Z6, and SLVR L7, which were taken for Motorola's promotional use and have been reproduced here for illustration purposes. -I host one article (in original form) published by Fortune Magazine on the history of the Motorola RAZR V3. The publication date with the original author's name and contact information is included. -I host a video made by the website www.FoneFunShop.co.uk of the testpoint procedure for the Motorola SLVR L7. -Any downloadable materials offered on my site, unless noted, were not created by me. These materials consist of cell phone modding programs and various files for customizing cell phones. These materials are all thought to be in the public domain without restriction. They are hosted on my site in good faith that they are free to distribute by anyone as many websites redistribute these files as well. I provide these materials free of charge. -There is a musical loop on my HacktheV3.com and HacktheV3i.com site that is performed by the artist "Dabrye". The piece of music is called "Hyped-up plus tax" and appeared in the Motorola RAZR V3 commercials. I purchased this song via Apple's iTunes website. The portion of the music I use in the loop is believed to fall within the terms of the fair usage doctrine established by the United States Supreme Court.
